You don’t have to order a thing. What’s really wonderful about web technology is they are now making these pamphlets and the information in them available to you to read right on-line by clicking on the pamphlets. Many of them come in Adobe Acrobat format, which means they’re already typeset and looking really good.

Now here’s the secret. When it produces one of these booklets, the federal government CANNOT COPYRIGHT THAT MATERIAL. It is owned by every citizen of the United States. It was produced with taxpayer dollars.

Now I want to caution you: there are some pamphlets and information, such as some from this Consumer Information Center makes available, that are produced and copyrighted by various companies for the federal government. They may place a restriction such as it being free to use only for educational purposes. Most, however, are yours free of charge.

There’s one drawback to this information - most of it is deadly, dry, and boring. It’s filled with the facts, figures, and information you need from federal government agencies. You can then wrap this information into your own products very easily, and flesh out and use snippets of them.

In fact, what I found really fascinating is some of these pages and online pamphlets are actually designed as very pretty websites that stand on their own. You can literally put together links on your website that jump to these pages and offer the information on your website, as if it was from your website but jump people over to that page and then come back to your site. You would not even have to take the information, just push people over to it.

Now the secret to making this stuff...

The reason I said it’s dry is because of what it’s missing. The one element that I wanted to bring up that is the one thing people most want to know about is other people. They want information, but I think one of the key secrets is that the real power of having other people create your product for you is that it’s people telling you this.

It’s different people, you’ve got more then one person involved in that product, people telling stories, war stories, and what have you, about how they’ve survived this or that or come up with this or that new technique or new idea.

It’s the information being imparted through people. I wanted to mention that because it really does have a lot of power. People are the power. Look at People Magazine. I thought, what an idiot idea. That shows you where I went with that. And they’re one of the most popular magazines in America today. The bottom line is everybody wants to know all about people.

One way you could curb the people who’ll get anything for free and qualify good prospects at the same time is to charge a small price for the sample of your product. This way, really interested people will only have to pay a couple of dollars to try out what you have to offer, while those who’re just looking for something free won’t want to pay for it, and they’ll leave you alone.

A sample should contain a very limited amount of usefulness - it should present the customer with enough information to try it out to a limited degree and see whether or not it will work for them. That’s the whole point - to try it out and see if it will work for them or not!

Then, once they’ve found that the sample was good, they’re going to want to buy the full product - and you’ll have justified sales coming in!

We don’t even have to be so clever and bright. What we have to do is learn how to market. If we market non stop and if we use this free publicity tactic, there is no stopping us. The Internet is a vehicle that works perfectly because nobody cares if you’re a giant, billion dollar corporation or if you’re working out of a spare bedroom. If you have information, product, or services they want, they’ll buy it from you just as quickly as they’ll buy it from Sun Microsystem, IBM, or anybody else.

If you’re selling one $20 product on your one web site, you’re going to make $20. If you’re selling one a week you’re going to make $20 a week. If you go out there and work out an arrangement with a hundred web site owners, that same $20 now becomes $2000 a week, which is a $100,000 a year. Go out there and initially, over a period of time, work out an arrangement with a thousand web site owners, which is definitely not impossible. It will take consistent work on a weekly or daily basis.

A simple trick you can use to learn how to become a master copywriter is to write your copy as if you were writing to a friend. Don’t actually use their name, but put a lot of “you’s” in the copy. Make it personal, as if you were writing a letter telling them about this product they will love. Tell them all about it and how it is something they want and need, and then tell them where they can get it!

You will be surprised how easy it is to write super sales letters when you take this approach! Mail order is a personal sales medium. Your ad may be run in a publication with over a million readers, but only one person at a time is reading your ad. They need to feel like your ad was written directly to them! In this case, you just determine how much you want to make from the book and they put up the money that you are paid, and you distribute the book free again. Actually offer it to them free, particularly if they’re an online business. 7) Give them the advertisement and the list of 50 main benefits you’ve already written to sell the book. Tell them to write a book that clearly delivers all these promises. They can write 2 pages on each one of your 50 main benefits. Give them several similar books they can use for reference material. Tell them they can use the main ideas in these books - but must never copy anything word for word.

8) They will write around 100 pages. At $10 a page, your cost will be $1,000 for a product that could sell for many years. This can be typeset into a smaller 6” x 9” book that will give you about twice as many pages.

We just can’t think of anything better than to have hundreds or maybe even thousands of buttons, and banners and links all over the Internet that you haven’t had to pay a dime for. And you pay only for results!

That is the best kind of advertising there is, when you only have to pay when someone makes a sale. But most people sign up affiliates to sell their products just to make money. Here’s how you do it. First of all, if you’re selling an informational product, create another product that’s a slimmed down version of it, something that will appeal to the same market that you are trying to reach with your product. It might be a couple of chapters from your main product, or a little bonus information under a different title.

For us, our back end product is “How to Create and Market Informational Products” and we have a manual on how to create a product in two to four hours that customers want to buy. We then would create a product that would appeal to people who would be interested in buying our real back end profit making product.

We might create a manual that says “How To Sell Information On The Internet For People Who Can’t, Won’t, Or Absolutely Refuse To Write.”

Now, that’s an interesting title for someone who might be a prospect for selling information and buying my back end product. So we create that product. We extract that from our other back end products. We create that and put a price tag of say, $10 or $12 on it, and we make that available to our affiliates to sell and keep all of the profits from.

Now, how can we afford to do that? We create a little file, and we load it up on our web site at a location, and we just sell download.

So when an affiliate sends a customer to us, they fill out the credit card information, and they get the password to the location on the site. They get to download the product instantly.

They get instant gratification. And our affiliate gets 100% of the commission, or 90% of the commission if we want to extract our processing fees.

But, for the credit card processing fees, we now have the name of someone who we know for certain is interested in our product area. We know for certain they are willing to spend money with us. We know for certain that they have sampled our product, and if we have done a good job in creating it, we’ve created a product that delivers more value than the amount of money we charged.

So, we have someone who has sampled our product, knows what we deliver, and hopefully we have satisfied and pleased that person - and added that person to our mailing list.

And by having a credit card sale, not only have we just added their email address to our mailing list, we’ve added their physical postal mailing address, as well. We essentially have created a double mailing list. And we’ve done that at no cost to us! We have given the affiliate all of the profits but we didn’t have to lay out money for printing, storage, or mailing, or shipping. All of those things were taken care of with electronic download.

It is a situation where we now have someone on my mailing list who paid to get there. We have an affiliate who is very happy with the sale. And while we’re continuing to mail our customer and trying to make other sales, our affiliates are out bringing new people into the fold.

It is a perfect situation to get people, in effect, who have paid to be on our mailing list. Everybody wins.

“We’ll refund your money,” can sound negative to a prospect. It can call in mind a grudgingly slow wait, and the company doing whatever they can to keep that cash in its checking account.

On the other hand, the picture called up by offering to “buy back” a product can be very different. It sounds friendlier, and less grudging. When you buy something you tend to lose the money instantly, leading them to believe that they’ll get their money quicker.

It also sounds more impressive, as if it’s a more daring operation - “If you don’t like it, we’ll buy it back from YOU!”

In your offers, tell prospects that you’ll buy back their products. It may be no different from a refund guarantee, but it won’t be perceived that way. Prospects will feel much more positive about spending their money on your products and, as a result, you could potentially make a lot more money!

Recently we were reading an investment magazine. They were talking about the reasons why people either don’t invest or don’t buy when they should.

If you are going to engage in this type of marketing, another thing you might want to do is create an actual web site where you are promoting a variety of items you might see on an infomercial. So let’s say, for example, someone goes to your auction for a piece of exercise equipment that they’ve seen on TV for $300, and they bid on it for $100; finally, they get it at $175.

At that website, there’s actually a link there that takes them to YOUR website, where you not only sell that exercise equipment, but also maybe Tae-Bo videos and that miracle car polish that you can set on fire, and it won’t harm your car.

Since you would be selling a product that people are seeing on TV day after day, in some cases year after year - very successful products - you have some exposure, some advertising, that’s not really costing you anything, but you take advantage of it by offering those exact same products.

In fact, we’ve talked to quite a few people who go to the Internet auctions specifically to find products that they see either on infomercials or in stores at a much lower rate or price. If people are going to do this, why not use it to your advantage?

In fact, we should stress, too, that a list of links is one of the best contents that you can provide, especially if you are constantly changing and upgrading it. You can do it on one page. Direct people to that page from elsewhere in your site. Never even touch the rest of your site, just have that one page that you update and place on your web site on a regular basis. People will keep coming back. If they don’t make it their home page, they will still at least bookmark it as a place to go to find resources - by continually attracting people to your web site, the higher your chances of making even more money - therefore, links help you make huge sums of extra cash profits. And all you had to do was add simple links to your web site!
